FACCGN organized the Trade Expo component of VEGAS FAB, a first ever triple bill event that combined a Trade Expo, a Filmfest and a Gala night in one day.
VEGAS FAB happened on October 28, 2023, at the ORLEANS HOTEL AND CASINO. It was a triple bill of an event that included a Trade Show, a Filipino Short Film fest and a Gala night. The Filipino American Chamber of Commerce of Greater Nevada organized the Trade Show component and was able to put together 90 exhibitors showcasing a varied line of Filipino businesses ranging from products, technology, culinary, fashion and apparel, and a wealth of health and life related services. Representatives from Las Vegas county, the Philippine consular office in Los Angeles and the Filipino American communities graced the event.
Vegas FAB—an inaugural, one-day “triple bill” of Trade Expo, Filipino short film festival, and gala—brought Filipino-American enterprise to the spotlight at The Orleans Hotel & Casino, with FACCGN leading the Trade Expo program and exhibitor experience in Mardi Gras Ballroom A.
Based on the ballroom’s published square footage and the event’s floor-plan elements (booths plus a stage/ramp and business “negotiation corners”), FACCGN’s best estimate is that the Expo supported 90 vendor booths and welcomed approximately 1,800–2,200 attendee visits over the 9-hour public show window.
**Impact snapshot (best-estimate):** **1,800–3,000 attendee visits** | **35–55 vendors** | **~$1.5M direct vendor/affiliate sales** |
| Attendees | **~1,800–3,000 attendee visits (estimated)** estimated from Trade Expo’s 9am–6pm schedule and Ballyroom-A use within a split ballroom facility.
Vendors | 90 vendor booths (estimated)| Estimated from Mardi Gras Ballroom size (17,226 sq. ft.) split into Ballroom A, then applying standard exhibit space planning (booth space vs. aisles) and subtracting space for the stage/ramp and negotiation corners described in the event packet.
Sales & economic benefit | Estimated $1.5M direct sales (reported) Direct sales figure appears as a public self-reported claim by an involved organizer
