The FACCGN (Filipino American Chamber of Commerce of Greater Nevada) held a very successful Kick-off event called "Edibles" focusing on Filipino-American businesses related to the food and beverage industries, and the entertainment industries. A rising culinary talent, an eminent sommelier, and a dynamic talent management entrepreneur take center stage this event. Noted personalities from the government, business, education and civic engagement communities graced the affair and added prestige and color to the launch event.
An Induction and Oath-taking Ceremony of the new set of FACCGN officers happened with Marie Cunning, current FPACC President as the Inducting Officer.
This was the first of a series of themed events by the FACCGN to jump-start planned community engagement activities and to encourage active Chamber participation among the communities.
Headlining the event were:
Barry Bond Picazo, of Cutting Board Filipino GastroPub, a newly opened Filipino fusion restaurant, with Chef Gloria Escobar, Eight Wonder Inc, the importers and distributors of the Cordillera Heirloom Rice, Master Sommelier, Luis de Santos, to present Wine 101, courtesy of Southern Glazers Wine and Spirits, who sponsored the wine tasting session for the night.
Ron Cabildo, Hands On Executive of the talent management agency,
Definitive Talents, took center stage as he talked about his trials and travails as an entertainment maven, his passion for music and entertainment and how he span off his career into a successful enterprise, setting the stage for many talents through his effective stewardship and management.

Last November 22, 2016, the Filipino American Chamber of Commerce of Greater Nevada or the FACCGN, hosted its Second General Membership and Mixer at the Cafe de Cebu, the newest Filipino restaurant and bar, from six to nine in the evening. Top-billing this event was Luna Design International, a Las Vegas-based branding and design studio, showcasing their collective work for major US retailers and e-commerce sites, and their successful design stewardships with a growing list of inter-global clients. Noted Great Basin Brewing Company was on deck offering beer sampling to the guests accompanied a live musical performance by Australian jazz artist, Ron Kingston, courtesy of Definitive Talents, Inc.

October is the Filipino American Heritage Month and what better way to celebrate this than through Food and Music. The Chamber hosted a General Membership and Networking MIxer last October 27, 2017, Friday, from 7 to 9pm, at the Lucky Dragon Resort and Casino. The event featured Sharon Tanyag, Aldo Endiquez and the Swing Band with Great Basin Brewery for beer tasting. The event Manila Hot Nights happened after that with the 360 Band topbilling the music event.

The Filipino American Chamber of Commerce (FACCGN) successfully hosted the First Annual Christmas Lantern or Parol Competition, enjoining members, friends and family to don their creative and artistic hats to craft a supplied Parol kit. The results were truly a visual delight as the participants stepped up to the plate, showcasing each individual style and interpretation as each entry was jazzed up and decorated according to their choice theme or perspective.
The top three winners were selected based on the criteria set by the Contest Committee, on the basis of creativity and craftsmanship, use of recycled materials, symbolism and message and overall aesthetics. The winners received cash prizes and a Certificate of Recognition from the Chamber, and certainly, they took home their award-winning Parols with feelings of celebration and victory. Congratulations to the winners!
The Judging and Awards Event was held last December 22, 2017 at the Marketplace, located at the Lucky Dragon Plaza, and truly, as the lanterns filled up the display gallery, the atmosphere filled up with the joys and delights of a Filipino Christmas. Truly, as the stars gleamed and sparkled, one star-studded night indeed!
The Filipino American Chamber of Commerce of Greater Nevada (FACCGN) concluded its First General Membership meeting of 2018 with plans laid out for the rest of the year while at the same time, reaching out to more diversified community sectors. The plans also underlined a goal to involve more members for a more cohesive campaigns, expand events and programs that underscore membership needs, and their respective communities, and to be a dominant voice for the Filipino American business community in the State of Nevada.
